The menu at Tutt Heights Cafe reads like a love letter to Mediterranean staples, featuring crowd-pleasers and hidden gems alike. Start your culinary adventure with their famed Falafel Combo, where crispy, perfectly seasoned falafel balls rest atop a bed of fresh salad and creamy tahini. Their Lentil Soup and Harira Soup provide soul-warming, aromatic broths that beautifully balance spices and earthiness, making every spoonful comforting and unforgettable. For meat lovers, the Doner Lamb Gyro stands out—tender layers of marinated ground meat, grilled to savory perfection and served with fragrant rice, hummus or babaghanouj, fresh pita, and a lively salad. The Kofte Kebab, a skillful blend of ground meat, bread, onion, parsley, and garlic, grilled over charcoal, further showcases their mastery of Middle Eastern grill techniques.

Vegetarian options shine here as well, with fresh, vibrant dishes like the Greek Salad, Spinach Pie, and delightful Cheese Pie. The Falafel Sandwich is another favorite, offering a crispy exterior and a tender, flavorful interior wrapped in freshly baked pita that customers rave about — a true treat when eaten warm and straight from the oven. Not to be missed, the Baklava with Walnut and Cinnamon delivers the perfect sweet finale: flaky layers dripping with honey, crunchy nuts, and just a hint of fragrant spice.

To complement the food, Tutt Heights Cafe offers an array of beverages that beautifully match their menu’s freshness and authenticity. Refresh with a tangy, floral Hibiscus Drink, sip on traditional Mint Tea, or enjoy a strong and aromatic Turkish Coffee. Have been coming to this neighborhood gem for a long time, even when it was under previous ownership. The food is delicious, the service is very friendly and welcoming, and there is usually plenty of comfortable seating. I've done dine in and take out - I would only say that their fresh baked pita is so delicious when it comes out of the oven that it's worth dining in to experience it.

We got a meet samples, and after trying I understood why this place has such high rating. The meat was perfectly freshlycooked (not just heated previously cooked).

I was treated really well here. It’s a charming restaurant. The food is really good. I’m not used to New York pricing so the food was $40 for their popular plate and a dessert.

the real stars here are the kebab and the gyro. The meat is perfectly seasoned, tender, and full of flavor, served with fresh pita and generous portions. Everything tastes authentic and freshly made, like real Mediterranean street food. The gyro plate is my favorite - juicy, well-balanced, and super satisfying. If you're craving something hearty and delicious, this spot won't disappoint. Great prices too, especially for the quality

The food is good , a bit pricey , but good. Now the 1 major problem is the Pita Bread , It's like Rubber , the reason maybe cause over kneading the dough and or not Baking it properly. Reason I Avoid The Pita Bread , Cause Who wants to Chew on Something Rubbery. So until the Pita Bread Is Baked Properly , 4 Stars , when Pita Bread Bake The Right Way , then I Give 5 Stars. Respectfully.

We walked into this café completely by chance — and it turned out to be a real gem! Cozy atmosphere, attentive staff, and absolutely delicious food. The prices were a very pleasant surprise! From now on, whenever we’re in New York, we’ll definitely come back here. Definitely 5 stars! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

The lamb gyros is amazing. The portion sizes are also great. My friend recommends the chicken shwarma. I’d definitely come here again.
